This spindle falls at the intersection of our two spindle systems: mixing the smaller diameter shaft of the Mini-Spindles with the smallest whorl of the 'standard' Modular Adjustable Spindle System.
That seemingly simple mix has resulted in an absolutely fantastic spindle. It really excels at spinning fine yarns. It's just got that magic-happy-medium pairing that transforms a simple flick into a high speed, long-lasting spin every time, just as you'd want.
Kit contains one whorl in the Lotus style and one shaft. Please specify your choice of whorl color and shaft length when ordering.
Mixy-Spindle parts are fully compatible with our other Mini-Spindle Components (3/16" shaft), but not compatible with standard Modular Drop Spindle Components (1/4" shaft).
